Sound Form

If sound had shape, what would it look like? Fifteen visual modes - from breathing waveforms to pulsing nebulae - translate every note into a language of light and motion.

About This Work

'Seeing sound' is an ancient synesthetic longing. Sound Form offers fifteen windows into this desire: waveforms record sound's vital signs like EKGs, spectrum bars rise and fall like city skylines to the beat, particle swarms gather in bass and burst in treble, nebulae breathe with drums, terrain ridges rise along melodies. The work responds precisely to every vibration - not decoration, but translation. Here, sound finally gets the body it always deserved.
